Zelgai, the policeman, was shot and killed Friday evening by unknown men in Dehdadi district of the province, the provincial police spokesman Adel Shah Adel spoke with TKG.
According to the police spokesman, Zelgai came under armed attack when he was on way to home.
Police efforts were underway to hunt down the perpetrators and capture them, the spokesman said.
There was no claim of responsibility for the murder.
