Afghan forces on Friday night found a remote-controlled IED in Sangfarsh area in the eighth district of Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul.
Police defused the explosive device before going off, said Ferdaws Faramarz, provincial police spokesman.
There was no claim of responsibility for the plot.
Afghanistan, already gripped by decades-long war and violence, has been witnessing a rise in bomb attacks.
The attacks, often without claim of responsibility, claims lives of civilians mostly.
