Afghan Forces Clear District in Southern Kandahar Province

According to a ministry’s statement Afghan forces have inflicted heavy casualties to the fighters.

In the statement, the ministry said as many as 15 Taliban fighters have been killed and a dozen more wounded in its forces’ clearance operations.

Elsewhere, Afghan Defense Ministry said government forces have cleared two villages in Ali Sheng district of Laghman province.

There was no immediate comment from the Taliban.
