Armed men on Thursday morning [10:30a.m.], Afghanistan time, shot and killed Nemat Rawan, former media and government official in the twelfth district of Kandahar city, Jamal Nasir Barekzai, spokesman for Kandahar police chief, confirmed to TKG.
He was former TV anchor working for TOLOnews and employee of the Finance Ministry.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the murder.
