Provincial police confirmed an oxygen cylinder explosion took place Saturday morning in the fourth district of Afghanistan’s capital of Kabul, Khairkhana, Lab-e-Jar area.
According to police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz, the incident took place while a car was transferring the cylinders.
One person has died and another two wounded in the explosion.
It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the explosion.
A police investigation was underway.
