The National Security Directorate has announced in a statement that its Special Forces on Wednesday night arrested two members of the Islamic State/Daesh responsible for the group’s propaganda and targeted assassinations.
The men were arrested in the fourth district of Jalalabad city.
Another suspect was also captured by Afghan forces.
According to the statement. Rohullah was responsible for the extremist group’s propaganda and Sajid, another arrestee, was behind its targeted killings in the province.
A number of weapons were also seized from the suspects.
