Unknown armed men on Tuesday morning, around 7:40 local time, opened fire and killed two security personnel, said Fardaws Faramarz, provincial police spokesman.
The attack took place in the twelfth district of Kabul city.
According to police spokesman, an investigation was underway.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attack and no arrest was made.
