Kabul: Afghan Police Forces Foil Bomb Explosion

Afghan forces on Saturday morning found and defused a bomb placed inside a flower pot in Joi Sheer area, second district of Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, provincial police said.

There was no claim of responsibility for the plot.

Afghanistan, already gripped by decades-long war and violence, has been witnessing a rise in bomb attacks.

The attacks, often without claim of responsibility, claims lives of civilians mostly.
