Afghan forces on Wednesday carried out air and ground operations in four districts of Kandahar province, said Ministry of Defense.
The raids were carried out in Zhari, Shah Walikot, Maiwand and Arghandab districts, according to ministry’s statement.
As many as 31 Taliban militants were killed and 19 others wounded in the raids.
There was no comment from the Taliban officials yet.
