Bomb Explosion Foiled in Afghan Capital

Afghan forces on Tuesday morning found and defused a sticky bomb in front of a house in Kart-e 3 area, sixth district of Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, provincial police said.

There was no claim of responsibility for the plot.

Afghanistan, already gripped by decades-long war and violence, has been witnessing a rise in bomb attacks.

The attacks, often without claim of responsibility, claims lives of civilians mostly.
