It can be inferred from the four decades bitter war in Afghanistan that there is no military solution to the conflict, President Emomali Rahmon said.

“We will take effective measures to resolve the Afghanistan conflict,” he said.

Tajik President declared his country’s support for the Afghan peace process, adding its support to Afghanistan is of the priories of the Tajik nation.

Mr. Rahmon further said his country was ready to share its peace experience with Afghanistan in bids the country torn by long-decades of war achieve peace too.

He called on other countries to support Afghanistan in achieving peace and ending war and bloodshed.

All Afghans’ voiced must be heard in the peace process.

The Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process, a regional initiative of Afghanistan and Turkey launched in 2011.

It aims to promote regional security, economic and political cooperation centered on Afghanistan through dialogue and confidence-building measures.
