According to police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz, a roadside bomb explosion on Wednesday around 9:00am targeted a police vehicle in Bagh-e Dawood area near Paghman district of the capital.
The explosion wounded one policeman, the spokesman said, adding he was taken to hospital.
An investigation was underway, he added.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.
