Afghan forces carried out air and ground attacks on Taliban gatherings in Qaisar and Khaja Sabzposh districts of Faryab province, said Shaheen army corps.
At least 34 Taliban militants, including Qari Nabi a group leader, have been killed and 14 others wounded in the raids, it said.
A number of weapons were also demolished, according to corps’ statement.
The Taliban has yet to comment.
