Explosion Targets Bus in Afghan Capital

The explosion took place near the 17th district of Kabul city, Khairkhana area, at 7:20am local time, said provincial police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz.

He put the toll of casualties to three killed and eleven others wounded.

Another car, said to be surf-type, was also destroyed in the explosion.

Photos shared on social media also showed that a bus was targeted by the explosion. 

There were reports that the bus belonged to the Afghan Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
