The man had tortured his wife to death, the provincial police spokesman Jawed Besharat said.
The man and his father were arrested and confessed to the crime, he added.
In another incident, as many as four thieves have been arrested in Pule Khumri city.
Their cases will be referred to judiciary following police investigations.
