At least three civilians were killed and another four wounded after the car they were travelling in hit a roadside bomb on way to Kandahar-Trinkot highway, Mohammad Omar Shirzad, provincial governor for the Afghan southern Urozgan province said.
Two men and one child was among the dead while three children and one woman were wounded in the explosion, he said.
He pointed the blame at Taliban, but the group has yet to comment.
Mr. Shirzad condemned the attack and called a gift from the Taliban.
