The Afghan First Vice President Amrullah Saleh said on Facebook following his 6:30am meeting that the suspect who fit a bicycle with explosives detonated it Saturday morning in Bagrami district of Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul.
The man was arrested having his bomb controlling remote, he said.
The Afghan national security forces have also arrested a member of the Taliban group who wanted to kill an Afghan journalist and civil society activist near the 12th district of the capital.
The person was named Mirza Jan who has been trained in Pakistan.
The Taliban have constantly denied involvement in murder of journalists and civil society activists.
