Unknown armed men opened fire and killed a mobile engineer in Bazazi area of Ghazni’s capital city, said governor spokesman Wahidullah Jumazada.
Shukrullah was killed since he was allegedly repairing mobile phones belonging to government forces, according to the spokesman.
The gunmen managed to flee the area, according to Mr. Jumazada, who added police efforts were underway to arrest them.
No individual or armed group claimed responsibility.
Security situation has been worsening in the province with residents urging authorities to take serious measures.
