The dead bodies were found in an area in Guzara district of western Herat province, Mohammad Arif Jalali, head of the regional hospital, spoke to TKG.
The decapitated was a 17-year-old boy, according to Mr. Jalali, and the other one who was burned was a 30-year-old man.
The provincial police confirmed they have found a burned body.
Abdul Ahad Walizada, spokesman for the provincial police chief, said the man was killed somewhere else and his dead body was set on fire on way to Herat-Kandahar highway.
He added that it wasn’t clear who the victim was. Police investigations were underway.
Earlier, a woman’s burned body was found by the province’s police.
Police officials believe personal animosity can be the main causes of such incidents.
