He made the remarks Thursday at a workshop on 2020 Geneva Conference follow-ups and implementation of commitments.
He said that a consensus for peace in Afghanistan has been transformed into an international consensus and diplomacy. The more violence has surged, the more the Republic’s legitimacy proved, he added.
Violence is not the way forward to a political settlement, he said, but it is a comprehensive agreement.
He made the remarks on violence amid the country already torn by decades-long war and bloodshed has been witnessing high levels of hostility, with targeted assassinations killing dozens every day.
