Distribution Officer

Duties & Responsibilities:

Identification, selection and verification of beneficiaries.

Processing cash beneficiary lists approved and authorized by the Project Manager.

Ability to prepare for day to day documentation according the given activities.

To support and contributes to the organization and implementation of all distribution activities.

Working with partners to ensure clear communication with affected communities regarding targeting criteria to access assistance.

Prepare and share beneficiary list and form and share it with Cash Transfer Agent.

Support Cash Transfer Agent in developing timely distribution plan.

Monitor the cash transfer agents during Minimum expenditure Basket (MEB) disbursements.

To ensure beneficiaries are respected and cared for during distribution activities.

Make sure that beneficiaries are delivered the required basic assistance in timely, accessible and participatory manner.

Visit the IDP and Returnee’s Camp as per filed work and visit.

Participate staff meeting and prepare periodic reports.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and commitment during work.

Qualifications Required:

The candidate must have acquired a bachelor degree of the relevant field.

At least 2 years of working experience with leading international or Afghan(National) NGOs, United Nations, or large business companies;

Extensive experience from large and complex operations;

Computer skills are necessary, especially expert knowledge of MS Excel and Word;

Maturity and ability to work long hours under pressure is essential;

Must be able to work in a team environment, to comprise both Afghan and international staff;

Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English and Dari or Pashto;

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential;

Should be willing to travel to the provinces.
