Afghan forces have thwarted Taliban attacks in Badakhshan Kandahar and Urozgan provinces, a statement by Ministry of Defense read.
At least 24 Taliban militants have been killed and 21 more wounded in government forces ground and air raids.
Two of the militants’ hideouts and a number of weapons were demolished during the raids.
On Friday, the ministry announced as many as 122 Taliban insurgents were killed in the past 24 hours.
The Taliban officials have not commented yet.
