In a statement on Wednesday, Feb 03, Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs called rocket attacks by Pakistani forces along the Durand disputed border a clear violation of the Afghan national sovereignty and could negatively impact efforts to boosting bilateral ties.
The ministry warned Pakistan will be responsible for the consequences if its forces’ continue their rocket attacks.
This was not the first time Pakistani forces along the border launch rocket attacks, targeting Afghan soil.
According to officials, most recently, at least 50 rockets fired by Pakistan’s army slammed into Sheltan district of eastern Kunar province.
There was no report on casualties.
