Two suicide bombers on Tuesday evening attempted to detonate their explosive vests on bases belonging to public uprising forces but were killed before hitting the target, the provincial governor Ziaulhaq Amarkhel said.
Their explosives also detonated, leaving no one hurt.
No armed group has so far commented.
