Afghan Defense Ministry announced a Taliban attempted car bomb attack has been foiled in Afghanistan’s northern province of Baghlan.
Armed Taliban attempted to carry out car bomb attack on outposts belonging to Afghan forces in Sement Khana hill in northern Baghlan province Friday evening.
The plot was foiled before hitting its target, according to the statement.
The suicide bomber was killed by Afghan forces, it added.
The Taliban officials have not yet commented.
