NATO keeps up supporting Afghan forces to make sure Afghanistan never again becomes a safe harbor for international terrorism, the alliance’s chief added.
President Ghani’s office has meanwhile said Secretary-General said while speaking to president that NATO was committed to train and advise Afghan forces and would continue this mission.
NATO took responsibility of the international security effort in Afghanistan back in 2003.
