Kabul city was jolted by another blast on Monday, the third in one day.
An IED blast targeted a car near the sixth police district of the Afghan capital Monday around 4:35pm, provincial police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz said.
The explosion killed one and wounded another, according to the spokesman.
It wasn’t clear who the victims were.
It was the third explosion that rocked the capital in one day.
The first explosion targeted a car belonging to the employees of Afghan Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Monday around 8:37am.
It was followed by another explosion targeting a land-cruiser-type car near Kabul city’s eleventh police district around 10:10, police confirmed, according to the spokesperson.
The blasts left no one hurt, according to police, while caused material damages.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attacks.
Targeted killings, violent attacks and explosions, often unclaimed, have recently soared in the country already been gripped with decades-long war and bloodshed.
