Ahmad Rashid Saami, son of Sayed Mohammad Saami, who was missing for the past two days was found dead Wednesday, according to Adel Shah Adel, the provincial police spokesman.
He elaborated the dead body was found near the ninth security district of Mazar-e Sharif city, the capital of northern Balkh province.
Initial findings indicated Rashid was strangled to death.
The motive of his murder wasn’t clear and there was no arrests made.
