Scores of Taliban Killed in Southern Afghanistan

Scores of armed Taliban planned to attack security outposts belonging to government defense and security forces in Zhari district of Kandahar province, said the ministry in a statement.

The Afghan forces targeted the militants, killing at least 12 of them and wounded another five.

The Taliban officials have not commented yet.
