Afghan forces have arrested at least two members of the Taliban group in Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar province, according to provincial officials.
Afghan National Security Forces on Tuesday night arrested two active members of the Taliban group near the sixth district of Jalalabad city.
According to the provincial media outlets, the two suspects were Omran, originally from Shirzad district of Nangarhar province, and Sarwar from the central Logar province.
There was no comment by the Taliban officials.
