Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced at least five Afghan refugees were killed in a traffic accident in Turkey’s Agri province, east of the country.
The ministry said in a statement Sunday night that a car crash took place in Dogubeyazit district of eastern Agri province, killing as many as five Afghans.
The car carrying Afghan nationals ran off the road due to high speed, according to the statement.
The Embassy of Afghanistan to Ankara will probe into the incident, it read.
