Local authorities in Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar said government forces have arrested a man with dozens of handguns in the province.
A man named Zahir who is originally from Nangarhar’s Chaparhar district has been arrested over smuggling charges, said governor spokesman Attaullah Khogyani.
As many as 20 handguns have been seized from the suspect who has confessed to his crimes, according to the government official.
