Adel, the mastermind behind a brutal attack on Kabul University who facilitated armed men’s assault on classrooms, killing dozens of students on November 2, has been sentenced to death by the Supreme Court, according to the Interior Ministry.
Their trial was held Wednesday, December 30, according to ministry, awarding the death sentence for Adel and jail terms for the rest four over several crimes, including ties with the IS/Daesh group.
The court has determined one of the suspect’s innocence, said the Interior Ministry.
