Addressing at a meeting of “Government and Media Joint Committee”, Interior Minister Masood Andarabi said in close coordination with country’s intelligence agency, investigations were underway into the assassination of Yama Siawash, former TV anchor and who recently had joined Central Bank as adviser.
In a statement of Second Vice President’s office, Minister Andarabi was quoted, saying three suspects involved in the attack were arrested.
The Minister of Interior has highlighted that he had shared details of Siawash’s assassination with his family and a number of media heads.
Siawash’s family recently lodged a complaint with the UN Security Council to further probe into the murder.
