Four people, and child among them, were killed after two cars crashed into each other in Mazar-Hairatan Highway Saturday evening, said Balkh police spokesman Adel Shah Adel.
The cause of the crash was said to be heavy snowfall.
A similar car crash took place earlier last month in the same location, killing and/or wounding at least ten people.
Drivers’ negligence and damaged roads are the common causes contributing to traffic accidents in Afghanistan.
