U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Ross Wilson with a particular reference to the assassination of Kabul’s deputy governor said Tuesday that at least ten Afghans have been killed in “targeted attacks” in just one week.
He made the remarks on Twitter, saying such “senseless attacks” must be ended.
“We will work with our Afghan partners to prevent such attacks & hold their perpetrators accountable,” he continued.
Yesterday’s sticky bombing claimed lives of two people, including the deputy governor of the capital Kabul.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
