Government Forces Kill Taliban Group Leader in Badghis

Taliban militants planned to attack security outposts in Qarchaghi area in north-western Badghis province, read the ministry’s statement.

Afghan forces countered with air strikes, leaving three killed and four others wounded.

A group leader was among the dead, the statement read.

The Taliban officials have not commented.
