Passengers stranded in Torkham, a key crossing point between Afghanistan and Pakistan, had earlier told The Killid Group that despite holding a passport, they were not allowed to enter the neighboring country.
Speaking to TKG, the passengers stuck in there said overcrowds had caused problems for patients.
Officials in the Torkham crossing however said the gate is open to passengers and excessive congestion has resulted in delayed travels.
There are large number of passengers, according to the source, and overcrowds have caused delays.
Few times ago the gate was reopened to pedestrian traffic for four days a week–Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
