A prosecutor, named Pamir, came under gun attack today morning in Deh Araban area of Kabul, Ferdaws Faramarz, spokesman for the police chief said.
An investigation into the incident was ongoing, the spokesman said.
Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh has taken charge of the security situation in the capital, but the city still witnesses a rise in criminal activities.
