Afghan forces found and foiled an explosive device placed by “terrorists” at a side of a road in Hodkhel area of Kabul city, said police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz.
The device was found and defused Sunday morning around 7:45, Afghanistan time.
The country gripped with decades-long war is witnessing high levels of violence amid peace efforts negotiators from the government and the Taliban have been putting in the Qatari capital of Doha for advancing the process.
