Two blasts in a row rocked Bamyan city today around 4:40pm—unprecedented blast in one of the country’s most secure provinces.
Tariq Arian, a spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior, said the explosions took place in Sarak-e Naw area of Bamyan city.
The ministry’s spokesman put the toll of casualties to 13 killed and 45 injured.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
