Three consecutive blasts were heard in the ninth district of Mazar-e Sharif city in northern Balkh province late yesterday evening, Adel Shah Adel, a spokesman for the provincial police said.
The explosives were placed inside a flower pot, but has left no casualties.
Witnesses however said the blasts have shattered windows of the nearby houses.
No one has so far claimed responsibility.
