A suicide attacker attempted to target Afghan forces in Shindand district of Afghanistan’s western Herat province yesterday around 3:00pm, but was detected and killed before hitting the target, the Ministry of Defense said.
The attacker was shot wounded but later lost his life, according to the statement.
No armed group has so far commented.
