At least ten Taliban fighters have been killed in an airstrike in Nahre-Siraj district of southern Helmand province, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Likewise in Urozgan province’s Dehrawood and Gizab districts, government forces carried out air and ground attacks on the militants, killing 37 of them and wounded another 20.
Two of the group’s hideouts and a number of their weapons were also demolished.
The Taliban officials have not commented yet.
