Afghan security forces averted a bomb attack after they detected and foiled the explosive device placed at side of a culvert in Mirbacha Kot district of Kabul province Tuesday morning, police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz said.
Similarly in the seventh district of the capital Kabul, a hand grenade placed at a residential house in the area was foiled by Afghan security forces, he said.
Earlier on Monday evening, unknown men dropped a grenade on a residential house, again, in the seventh district of Kabul.
The police spokesman said no one was hurt in the grenade attack.
