The country lost at least 12 people to the coronavirus within the last 24 hours, according to the latest data by the health ministry, pushing the total fatalities in the country to 1,574.
According to the official data provided by the health ministry, at least 263 patients having been infected with the novel COVID-19 have got better after the illness, bringing the recovery toll to 34,721 in the country.
Worldwide, 1,255,087 people have lost the battle for their lives and the total infections passed 50.3 million, a tally by Reuters indicated.
