Witnesses said unknown armed men gunned down three people yesterday evening in Darwaz-e Balkh area of Mazar-e Sharif, the provincial capital of Balkh province.
Providing the details of casualties, Mokhtar Sharaf, an official in the health directorate of Balkh province, said one dead body and another two who wounded were rushed to the regional hospital.
One of the victims wounded in the shooting was not in good health condition.
Residents of Mazar-e Sharif urge local authorities for an investigation into the incident, bringing the perpetrators to justice.
