An explosion targeted Afghan national security forces in Baraki Barak district of Logar province last night, killing a member of the Afghan security forces, governor spokesman Deedar Lawang said.
Another three members of the Afghan forces were wounded in the blast, the spokesman said.
Government officials in the province blamed the Taliban to be responsible, but the group has yet to comment.
No one has claimed responsibility.
