Two members of IS/Daesh are said to have died in an overnight operation in Narang district of the eastern province of Kunar, according to a statement issued by the government spy agency, the National Directorate of Security.
A number of heavy and light weapons were also seized during the operation, according to the operation.
The group has not commented so far.
