A bomb placed at a side of a road in Maidan Wardak’s Jalriz district exploded last night, leaving four civilians inside the car killed, Mohibullah Sharifzoi, a spokesman for provincial police chief spoke with TKG Monday.
Another bomb struck a vehicle in Chak district of the province, according to Mr. Sharifzoi, killing one civilian.
Local officials blamed the Taliban for being responsible, but officials in the group have yet to comment.
No one has officially claimed responsibility.
